Erinn has proudly built and owned Dental Express Staffing since 2009 and added Custom Dental Solutions in 2025 as a natural extension of her desire to support private practices. She brings nine years of full-time, hands-on experience in dental administration, treatment coordination, chairside assisting—working alongside more than 30 dentists—, and clinical management, giving her a clear understanding of what dental practices need to operate efficiently and sustainably. Since founding DES, she has spent more than 15 years operating a dental-focused business—overseeing day-to-day operations, managing and mentoring employees, building internal systems, and navigating the realities of growth, change, and compliance within the dental industry.

Over the years, Erinn recognized that many practices needed more than staffing support alone—they needed guidance, structure, and systems that support long-term success. That realization led her to grow Dental Express Staffing into one of the largest dental staffing agencies in Wisconsin and to incorporate Custom Dental Solutions in order to strengthen business operations, support dental teams, and build workable solutions based on how each office actually functions day to day.

Outside of work, Erinn enjoys time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She is also a dedicated advocate for her developmentally delayed daughter, a role that shapes her leadership with empathy, resilience, and a people-first approach. Balancing family life while leading two growing businesses continues to fuel her commitment to helping dental practices thrive.

DiDi brings hands-on experience across every corner of dentistry—from dental hygiene and office management to clinical directorship and compliance mastery—and continues to actively work in general practice clinical care. This ongoing clinical involvement keeps her closely connected to the real, day-to-day challenges dental practices face.

DiDi partners closely with doctors and teams to develop practical, sustainable solutions that truly work. Her approach is grounded in three winning strategies: implementing clear, effective processes; coaching teams to confidently support and sustain those processes; and establishing accountability to ensure consistency and long-term success.

Known for her straightforward style and dependable guidance, DiDi helps practices build strong teams, streamline systems, and maintain compliant operations that support doctors and empower dental professionals—allowing them to consistently deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Through dental consulting, team coaching, and compliance training, DiDi’s focus is always on helping practices grow with clarity, confidence, and care.

Outside of dentistry, DiDi enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending meaningful time with family and friends.

Stephanie has been in the dental industry since 1999. With a background that includes 13 years as a certified chairside dental assistant and 7 years in front office operations as an Insurance and Scheduling Coordinator, she offers a well-rounded, practical understanding of both clinical and administrative practice needs to Custom Dental clients.

Steph has had a role at Dental Express Staffing since 2020 and specializes in identifying, recruiting, and placing high-quality dental professionals while supporting dental practices through staffing challenges with clarity, empathy, and efficiency. Her deep industry knowledge allows her to effectively match candidates with environments where they can thrive, supporting long-term success for both teams and practices.

Known for her collaborative approach and strong communication style, Steph is committed to building strong partnerships and helping dental offices create reliable, well-aligned teams. She values building genuine connections and takes pride in helping both practices and candidates feel supported throughout the hiring process.

Katie has been supporting medical and dental practices through growth, change, and operational complexity since 2007. Her background spans private dental practices, multi-site physician groups, and consulting, giving her a uniquely practical understanding of how healthcare businesses run behind the scenes.

At Custom Dental Solutions, Katie partners with dentists and their teams to strengthen scheduling systems, revenue cycle workflows, insurance and billing processes, HR and retention strategies, compliance programs (OSHA and HIPAA), and strategic business practices focused on growth and long-term development. She is known for helping practices bring structure to chaos—building systems that protect profitability while also reducing burnout for the people doing the work.

Katie’s approach is rooted in a belief that strong practices are built on both sound operations and healthy team culture. She is driven by seeing dental teams move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling confident, organized, and proud of the care they provide. Her favorite part of the dental industry is the collaboration between doctors, assistants, hygienists, and front-office teams—each playing a critical role in delivering great patient experiences.

Outside of consulting, Katie also serves as an operations manager for an independent emergency medicine physician group, giving her a continuous frontline view of staffing, compliance, and financial and operational challenges in healthcare. She is a home chef and mom of three, which keeps her grounded in the realities of balancing high expectations with real life.  Her personal philosophy is simple:  When systems support people, people deliver better care.

Sarah brings hands-on healthcare experience to her role as Operations Coordinator at Custom Dental Solutions. Her experience since 1998 includes a diverse range of direct patient care and operational roles, including chairside dental assisting, front desk reception, chiropractic assisting, Chiropractic Radiologic Technologist, Behavioral Health Services Coordinator, Pharmacy Support Technician, Patient Services Representative, and Medical Records Assistant. Much of this experience was gained within a Federally Qualified Health Center, providing her with a well-rounded perspective of the patient experience and internal coordination required to keep a busy clinic operating smoothly.

Since 2017, Sarah has served as a Staffing Coordinator and Administrative Analyst for Dental Express Staffing, where she supported daily operations, coordinated dental staffing needs, managed administrative processes, and contributed to system organization and efficiency. This role strengthened her ability to balance people, processes, and problem-solving in a fast-paced, dental-focused environment.

Sarah is known for her dedication, creativity, and collaborative approach. She is deeply committed to streamlining workflows, improving efficiency, and creating organized, supportive systems that benefit both clients and employees. She brings a practical, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine desire to help teams succeed.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and finding ways to help others. She and her husband operate a small organic dairy farm in rural Wisconsin and are proud parents of three adult children and loving grandparents to growing grandchildren. With the understanding of patient care and practice operations, Sarah brings personalized, practical solutions and thoughtful support to dental teams she works alongside.

Penny brings clinical, educational, and business experience to her work as a dental consultant, coach, and educator since 2000. Known for her practical, no-nonsense approach, Penny helps dental teams turn regulations, recommendations, and best practices into systems that actually work in real life.

Penny is an Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) and a Certified Dental Assistant in the state of Wisconsin. She has completed the Association for Dental Safety – DALE Foundation Dental Infection Prevention and Control Certificate Program, further strengthening her expertise in evidence-based infection prevention, OSHA compliance, and risk reduction.

Her career includes 12 years as an instructor in a technical college dental assisting program, contributions to the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certification examination, and speaking engagements on topics such as infection control, teamwork, workplace communication, dental assistant-focused education, and patient-centered dentistry. Penny has worked extensively with dental assistants, business team members, managers, and practice owners, supporting growth through education that emphasizes critical thinking, accountability, and confidence at every level of the dental practice.

As someone who manages a successful private practice in Wisconsin and continues to assist chairside, Penny understands the realities of modern dentistry. Her consulting and training are grounded in what teams actually face every day, from workflow challenges to compliance oversights to team communication breakdowns.

At Custom Dental Solutions, Penny partners with practices to define what success looks like for them and then helps them achieve it, their way.

Nichole's varied skills and extensive experience in the dental profession make her a valuable team member of Custom Dental Solutions. As a Practice Solutions Dental Administration Coach, she will use her combined skills in business, practice management, administration, dental assisting, and front desk operations. Long before entering the dental field, Nichole owned two businesses herself and served as CFO for a large corporation in Milwaukee for many years. Fun fact: Before entering the world of business management, she was on her way to Virginia for FBI basic training to work in the healthcare field. Given her diverse knowledge base and passion for patient care, she is excited to help dental teams grow and provide custom, quality care to their patients. By utilizing the skills and knowledge she has acquired over the past 22 + years in the dental field, she hopes to provide CDS clients with the tools, confidence, and knowledge to challenge themselves and learn new and exciting ways to provide quality care to their patients. She hopes to invigorate dentists, hygienists, assistants, and the admin team in their chosen profession by giving them the tools they need to create an exceptional patient experience, seamless operational efficiency, and a cohesive team culture. She hopes they continue to find the same joy she does in every smile she sees!
